Completely off-topic: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote some good medieval works. (They were actually his first love; one of the reasons he killed of Sherlock is because it didn't leave him with enough time to work on them.) I'd suggest looking up The White Company if you're interested.

Will do, thank you. Funny thing, just the other day I was in a newly opened Barnes & Noble hereabouts, and was looking at a rather inexpensive copy of his complete works. Think I'll pick that up afterall.

I made these from LONG time but never had a chance to share blush
they will also be up at my website (I'll have a page for medieval/fantasy theme wink ), but I thought they'd also stay together with their brother-knights in the challenge who first inspired them wink

Oh boy, oh boy. Goodies to download. And so unexpected which makes them that much sweeter.

Thanks. And they are also good looking!

Love them, friedenlinde!

And I do love to see long-time challenges get new goodies. smile It helps people to remember that our challenges never close, because they're a great way to learn things.

Loved this challenge and all those great knights that come up! thumbsup

Well, They're finally done and if you'll head on over to the "If you've been with us so far" Section: http://simblesseoblige.com/viewtopic.php?p=68815#68815

You'll find your lovely skins turned into honest to goodness fakes!! yes

I won't post all the individual fake .rar's - just the collection, but each skinners fake has the appropriate readme inside each individual .rar in the collection.

BTW - Thank you all for allowing me to do this and I enjoyed seeing everyones creation come to "life"!! hug yes notworthy

No, the topic hasn't been active for a while. Not many new TS1 skinners these days, and not many places where new skinners can post their creations for download.

Still, we keep the challenges open. When the student is ready, the tutorials and challenges are there. smile I'm glad you tried your hand at these skins, because the practice is good for your talent. And the skins are good for my medieval game.. thumbsup

Taking the boots from the female knights is just fine. Things offered for download at SO are intended, among other things, to provide help to those who can use it. We encourage recolours, etc.

You might like to take a look at this thread, which gives information about learning to map a mesh. It was intended for people who have never made a skin before, but it might give you a few ideas.

This thread is for a similar, but more difficult challenge. Simarillion.com is no longer active. so if you want to try one of these challenges, I can send you the meshes.
