floorlaugh You just have to love me to stay for dinner

Salisbury Steak

1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup;undiluted
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1 egg
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Dash of salt
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef

2 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup water/broth (either one)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
dash pepper

In a bowl, combine the soup, mustard, Worchestershire sauce and horseradish; blend well. Set aside
In another bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper and 1/4 cup mixture. Add beef; mix well.
Shape into 6 oval patties. In a large skillet heat the oil, brown the patties, drain.
Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties. Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Or until meat is done.
Remove patties to a serving platter; spoon sauce over meat. Sprinkle with your parsley. I don't do that part wink

Serve over noodles, rice, potatoes, whatever you like.

Patty, this is how my mother discovered Salisbury Meatloaf when this happened to her. She dumped it all in a greased loaf pan and baked it at 350 for 45 minutes. Yummy.
