Hi !

I am having an almost all day Sims day and been fiddeling with ideas
(when I should be making the Elegance Hallway set ready... rolleyes )
and found some window sprites in a file that I didn't recognizes as
beeing available in the game:

the window sprites are found in my extracted folder where I have the windows5.iff file extrated in . windows5.iff came with Hot Date expack and in Categorizer and SimExplorer is shows only the executive window.

BUT the extracted files also has for an yellow version of the Swiss window.

Have anyone seen this befor ? Is it in a later expack perhaps ?
I don't have UL, Vac or SS installed in my game.

Susanne

I've never seen that version before - and isn't it pretty!!!!

how nice you're having an almost all sims day!! I know you've been busy so it must be very nice to get a big chunk of time to spend on this hobby!

Wow! I know there are unused skins hidden in the game but I didn't know there were unused sprites too! Pretty!

Yepp, I have found some more befor but now blush my mind doesn't remember where and what... laugh

Anyway I went and made an window out of it ...
The Blue Swiss window from HD now has a sister... yes

If anyone feels like *HINT* hacking it to be Ep free but working in all eps
please do so !

Susanne

Edited - removed this HD window as it had the same Id number as the no ep one. Will reclone and put the HD one up asp.

This version required Hot Date, if you have HD installed this one will maybe be better to use than the no Ep version.

I made a quick hack to make this window not disappear in live mode with no EPs installed. It worked OK in my The Sims only installation smile
If there are any other problems with this window when you don't have HD I don't know, I hav't played with it for many minutes laugh
I should be working on a bad z-buffer problem I'm having, but I take all chances I get to do something else instead ...

I was sitting here in 70 degree weather and thought my sims could use a little snow.
