I know SSOW has some counters with a grill built in (Nearly Napa, the patio sets), I'm not sure where you could get a grill that is placed on the counter, but SSOW has custom counters sets that include a counter piece with a built in grill.

I can release the counter top one with the next update. I've had it kicking around my computer for a few years unfinished (I did not finish changing the Z buffers in all of the graphic states)

Moppet Sim has a couple of patio sets with that grill as well (the plain grill not the sgrill/stove combination)

purplewowies thanks for replying; I have all SSOW and Moppet grills, and as gorgeous as they are, they don't go with this project's decor lol

The SLOT on the Maxis BBQ causes the burgers to seem to sit offcenter when you make the graphics as tall as a counter.

If you find that happening with your grills, Lilacsims, you can import the SLOT from one of the SSoW patio grills into your grill and see if that helps

There "Applying Patches" tutorial at SSoW can help if you are unfamiliar wiht importing resources. The major difference is that in this case (as in graphics resource swaps) you must make sure that only the resources you want to import (the one SLOT, for instance) is highlighted. Do not click OK with all resources highlighted.

Don't use the SLOT form the nearly napa grill or the animated campfire - those are a stove and grill combined and so needed a different SLOT.

Dohood, I'll have a deco-only grill for you to use a little later today. It's quite plain (the same little bit of grill in the SSoW patio sets) but it should be a step up from the burners.

Here it is.

Only the one graphic state (off) and no knobs or anything like that.
